Our story
Dang Coffee Roaster started in 2019 in a 12-square-metre shophouse on the east side of Chiang Mai. The founder, Khun Ton, was tired of supermarket coffee that tasted like cardboard and decided to roast his own.
Seven years later we are still small, still slow, and still picky. We work with three hill-tribe cooperatives in Chiang Rai and buy the rest of our green coffee through importers we trust on-site visits from.
What we believe
- Roast date matters more than brand.
- Pay farmers more than the C-price — always.
- If a coffee doesn't taste good black, don't put milk in it.
- Shops should smell like coffee, not perfume.
